The photographs taken by Till Steinberger in 2018 and 2019 show natural and urban landscapes.
They point to the natural delicate nuances in all their frailty of rootings, unfoldings, ramifications, light blinks and the infinite celestial vista. On the other hand, diverse visual peculiarities of urban and architectural structures characterize the works.
The opposing poles of “making visible” and “concealing” run through the 9-part series. Details, fragments, materials and structures are brought into focus through overlapping, superimposition and clear light and shadow relationships.
